Around the show there's a great buzz of enthusiasm, dapper menswear, and a meeting of many people that take this opportunity to come together from afar. Getting Political. Apparently, in the UK parliament male MP's are permitted to not wear their ties into the house. So, a suit and open collar formal shirt without a tie. That's so down with the kids right.. Surely with all the pomp and formality that surrounds such an establishment, so too should such respect be paid to the formality, codes and conduct of mens-wear. Not least, for the vast majority of male MP's it would be the safer sartorial option. It's not just the throw away nature of such a stance, the 'we can do without with this garment' that is so poorly considered, but it's the whole idea that the tie is something worth giving up. A close up on hand-made For discerning dressers, dandy's, sartorialist's and the like, once the overall well fitted look has been accomplished - with quality and in style, the final touches are all about the detail. This can be about finely tuning the length of a garment, additional accessorising, a little extra colourising here or there, and so on. The Actor While splitting the actor from the character is an almost impossible thing to do, probably the most obvious sartorial choice from the acting fraternity with almost 6 decades of fine-dapper-wear is Bond, with arguably the biggest well-dressed cue's coming from Connery, Brosnan and Craig.
